condition:This AUTHENTIC Kevin Walz piece is extremely rare. The lounge and ottoman version goes for around $15,000. This is a piece of history in AWESOME CONDITION! with only one slight impression in the cork on the top (see picture) If you have any questions about this item or need clarification on condition, please contact us at info@moderndesignmarket.com or call 1(800)895-7412. Thanks!description:The reference to the fine arts is not an arbitrary association, but one grounded in fact. Until 1978 Kevin Walz was a painter, having studied fine arts at Pratt Institute and painting at the New York Studio School under Philip Gustion and Esteban Vicente. He turned to interiors (Walz Design, New York) when unsolicited commisions came from clients intrigued by the design of his own living/working loft located in the then-unfashionable section of Chelsea. Yet he cites painting and sculpture as his continual and primary sources of influence along with "non-architectural structures, industrial and agricultural forms."materials:Corkdimension:15" w | 20" d | 33" hshipping:Shipping on this item is $49 within the continental US.
