Thanks!description:The 1920's were a time of exciting experimentation in design and architecture. Le Corbusier and his team were revolutionizing the idea of chairs with their LC Series that turned chairs inside out to make "cushions baskets." New materials were being explored by many designers including many Bauhaus Master's such as Breuer, who rethought what tubular steel (a new technology in bicycle design of the time) could do in furniture design with such chairs at the Wassily and the Cesca. This Original Modernist Desk was built in the 1920's with the same design ideals in mind. It represents an era of innovation -- this desk has a retractable desk plate -- and form based on use.materials:Metaldimension:74" w | 33" d | 29.5" hshipping:Shipping is $299 within the continental US.
